Better decisions, together.
We built Subvey because the best decisions aren't made alone — they're made with the right people, looking at the right choices, in the simplest possible way.
Why Subvey exists
Every day, people face choices and want input from others — from picking a logo to naming a product to deciding what to eat. The tools available for gathering that input are either too heavy (enterprise surveys) or too casual (group chats and polls that nobody finishes). We wanted something in the middle: simple enough that anyone will participate, rigorous enough that the results are worth trusting.
How we're different
Subvey uses pairwise comparison — showing two options at a time and asking which is better. It turns out this tiny change makes a huge difference. Evaluators don't get overwhelmed. Results are more decisive. And the math behind the swipes produces confidence-weighted rankings, not just raw vote counts.
We also decided, from day one, that voting should never require an account. Friction kills participation, and participation is everything. Evaluators just enter a code and swipe. Done.
Our principles
- Simplicity wins. If a feature doesn't make a decision easier, it doesn't belong.
- Privacy by default. Anonymous identities, no tracking, no selling data. Ever.
- Fast and fair. Real-time results, transparent math, no artificial nudges.
- Beautiful matters. People trust tools that feel well-crafted, and we take that seriously.
The crowd, built in
Need opinions but don't have an audience? Publish your job to the Subvey Crowd and anyone in the community can help. Evaluators earn points for each swipe, and creators spend points to run crowd jobs — a simple, self-balancing economy that keeps quality high and participation steady. Every account starts with a generous points bonus so you can run your first crowd job on day one.
What's next
We're just getting started. On the roadmap: AI-assisted evaluation, deeper demographic targeting (age, country, expertise), team workspaces, and cash-out options for top evaluators.
