Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Subvey account and associated personal data at any time.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open the Subvey app (iOS, Android, or web at subvey.app).
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and personal data will be scheduled for deletion.
Option 2 — By email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your account:
Include:
- The email address associated with your account
- A brief confirmation that you want your account deleted
We may ask a follow-up question to verify your identity. Once verified, we process the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (email, name, phone, profile picture)
- Jobs you created and their associated options, images, and audio
- Authentication records and session data
What may be retained
We may retain certain information after account deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you
- Records needed to comply with legal, tax, or audit obligations
- Information needed to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or prevent fraud and abuse
- Votes cast by evaluators remain part of the results but are not linked to personally identifiable information
